Brie Burdge

Realtor

If there are two things in my DNA, it’s southern Vermont and real estate. Not only was I born and raised here, but my parents were, too. My paternal grandfather was a real estate agent in VT and I was inspired by him. Like most of our team, my roots run deep in VT. Let’s just say I can give you the scoop on great places from the well-known—you can get the best donuts ever only on Sundays from King’s Bakery Cart in Cambridge, NY—to the secrets only locals seem to know!

Since 2015 I’ve been a licensed Realtor and consistently help people make the biggest purchase of their lives! Even though I work with both buyers and sellers, I have a fondness for working alongside buyers, educating them on the market and filling in the details of the process for them every step of the way. Afterall, helping people was the reason I decided to get into this business!

Going through my own experiences of buying and selling homes has given me perspective to understand both the seller's point of view, as well as the buyer's, which helps me to greater empathize with my clients.

I have 2 beautiful daughters (one in elementary school, the other in middle school) plus three cats and two dogs! Life is good!

Our family loves to explore playgrounds and lakes in the area, from VT to NY. I love the water, so ask me about where to enjoy it locally. Grafton Lake in upstate NY and Lake St. Catherine in Wells, VT are my favorites, but there’s so many gorgeous water spots here in southern Vermont. Summer days being spent by a pool or lake are one of our favorite things to do!

In my spare time I enjoy a good craft night with friends, whether it's making a new holiday wreath or painting with acrylics. Girls night out is my favorite way to unwind! I love trying new mixed drinks and great food from our local establishments (Miller's Toll is a MUST if you're visiting the area!!).

I enjoy reading mystery novels and anything to do with self-improvement and personal growth. We are never too old to stop learning and growing, whether it’s about ourselves or others.
