Mary Beth French

Realtor

I grew up in Baltimore and moved to Vermont in the mid-90s to work for a film studio in Rutland. By then, three of my brothers had already settled in Manchester, contributing to the vibrant local economy with ventures like The Silver Fork, Firefly Cafe, and Northshire Bookstore. I adopted my beautiful daughter from China in 2006, and relocated to the Delaware beaches to be close to my mom and sister. It's hard to believe she's now in college!

Vermont became our home again a few years ago when I returned to help my brother at the bookstore. Working there allowed me to build many meaningful relationships and see firsthand the impact of a strong local business. Although it has since sold, it remains a special part of our lives and the heart of the community. You will still find me wandering the aisles, searching for my next book.

Real Estate has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My sister is top Realtor in Delaware, and my brother owned a successful brokerage in Vero Beach, Florida for many years. Our conversations frequently include questions like, “did you see what just came on the market?” I think my own love for real estate started in childhood. We moved a lot, and I became passionate about making each house feel like a home.

My daughter and I love living in the Green Mountains and the lifestyle here. She graduated from Burr and Burton Academy, and I have a deep appreciation for this exceptional school. We truly cherish the strong network of friends and neighbors we’ve built!

I followed in my family’s footsteps and opened a small business, Green Mountain Permanent Makeup which serves those with cancer, alopecia, and other illnesses. I'm an active volunteer with Look Good Feel Better and support programs that help the elderly to thrive at home. In fact, we're moving my mom here to live with us. Helping others fulfills my life with meaning and purpose.

As a Realtor, I’m all about giving you great service and keeping things honest and clear. Caring and patient, I handle negotiations with a cool, calm approach, always putting your needs first. I’m here to offer helpful advice and support every step of the way.

When I'm not working or visiting my daughter at RIT, you can find me hiking Mount Equinox, attending estate sales and tag sales, or watching HGTV and Antiques Roadshow. I love the hunt for unique, vintage treasures and art...and of course, discovering amazing homes!
